DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

I fly to Your Mercy, Compassionate God, Who alone are good. Although my misery is great and my offenses are many, I trust in Your Mercy because You are the God of Mercy, and it has never been heard of in all ages, nor do Heaven or Earth remember, that a soul trusting in Your Mercy has been disappointed. (state your intentions) Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart, You are my haven. You are my peace. You are my salvation. You are my serenity in moments of struggle and amidst an ocean of doubts. Amen

NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore Thee, I love Thee with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer Thee this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to Thy will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in Thee and for Thee. Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Thy blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Within Thy Heart I place my every care. In every need let me come to Thee with humble trust saying, Heart of Jesus help me.

Only in God is my soul at rest. from him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold, I shall not be disturbed at all. Psalm 62:2-3

I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will declare all your wondrous deeds. Psalm 9:1-2

The message of Mary is to bring love and forgiveness for mankind through peace, conversion, fasting, penance, and prayer. We can bring peace through the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

The Corporal Works of Mercy:

1. Feed the Hungry
2. Give drink to the thirsty
3. Clothe the naked
4. Shelter the homeless
5. Comfort the imprisoned
6. Visit the sick
7. Bury the dead

The Spiritual Works of Mercy:

1. Admonish sinners
2.Instruct the uninformed
3. Counsel the doubtful
4. Comfort the sorrowful
5. Be patient with those in error
6. Forgive offenses
7. Pray for the living and the dead

Forgiveness is the key to peace. Conversion means total commitment to God and His commandments, and the avoidance of sin. Mary asks us to fast on Wednesdays and Fridays, as self-denial helps one in self-control. She asks us to offer penance for our sins, and for Catholics to go to confession at least once a month. She asks us to pray with the heart by daily reading of Holy Scripture. Her favorite prayer is the Rosary. She also wants us to attend Church and receive her Son Jesus in our hearts through communion. She calls all people, for we are all children of God. She wants us to be messengers of love and mercy, and spread the Word of God.

It is good for me to be with the Lord and to put my hope in Him. Psalm 72:28

In Him who is the source of my strength, I have strength for everything. Phillipians 4:15

The Power of the Rosary

The Rosary is my favorite prayer. A marvelous prayer! Marvelous in its simplicity and in its depth. . .

Against the background of the words "Hail Mary" there pass before the eyes of the soul the main episodes in the life of Jesus Christ. They are composed altogether of the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries, and they put us in living communion with Jesus through — we could say — His Mother's heart.

At the same time our heart can enclose in these decades of the Rosary all the facts that make up the life of the individual, the family, the nation, the Church, and all humankind. They include personal matters and those of our neighbor, and particularly those who are closest to us. Thus in the simple prayer of the Rosary beats the rhythm of human life. — POPE JOHN PAUL II

NOVENA FOR IMPOSSIBLE REQUESTS
This Novena honours the nine months during which Our Lady carried Our Blessed Lord in her womb.

"Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen." V - Pray for us, most holy mother of God. R - That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. "Virgin of the Incarnation, a thousand times we greet thee, a thousand times we praise thee for thy joy when God was incarnated in thee. Because thou art so powerful a Virgin and Mother of God, grant what we ask of thee for the love of God." Here state your first intention. Repeat all of above and then state your second intention. Repeat all of above and then state your third intention. CONCLUSION: After the above prayers and intentions, say the Memorare. Remember, O most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To thee do I cry, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. Hail Mary... Blessed and praised be the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, in Heaven, on earth and everywhere. AMEN.

ASSOCIATION OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL FAMILY PRAYER TO OUR LADY

Holy Mary, Virgin Mother of God, You were conceived without sin. I choose you this day As the model for my household And the intercessor for my family. Through your Immaculate Conception, Preserve us from every disaster, From violence, and from misfortune. O holy Virgin, bless and protect us all, Strengthen us in trial, And save us from all evil. Amen.

May the Father Christ enlighten the eyes of our heart that we might see how great is the hope to which we are called. Ephesians 1:17-18

Like a deer that longs for running streams, my soul longs for you, my God. My soul is thirsting for the living God Psalm 41:2-3

Faith, hope and love abide. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Through the Spirit one receives faith. 1 Cor 12:9

Prayer To the Holy Spirit

Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy. Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy. Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy. St. Augustine

Come, Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit

O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into my heart that I may perceive, into my mind that I may remember, and into my soul that I may meditate. Inspire me to speak with piety, holiness, tenderness and mercy. Teach, guide and direct my thoughts and senses from beginning to end. May your grace ever help and correct me, and may I be strengthened now with wisdom from on high, for the sake of your infinite mercy. Amen. Saint Anthony of Padua

I will give thanks to your name, because of your kindness and your truth: When I called, you answered me; you built up strength within me.
Psalm 138:2-3

LORD , TEACH US TO PRAY.

O my God! in holy awe I bow before Thee, the Three in One. Again I have seen how the mystery of prayer is the mystery of the Holy Trinity. I adore the Father who ever hears, and the Son who ever lives to pray, and the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, to lift us up into the fellowship of that ever-blessed, never-ceasing asking and receiving.

I bow, my God, in adoring worship, before the infinite condescension that thus, through the Holy Spirit, takes us and our prayers into the Divine Life, and its fellowship of love.

O my Blessed Lord Jesus! Teach me to understand Thy lesson, that it is the indwelling Spirit, streaming from Thee, uniting to Thee, who is the Spirit of prayer.

Teach me what it is as an empty, wholly consecrated vessel, to yield myself to His being my life. Teach me to honour and trust Him, as a living Person, to lead my life and my prayer. Teach me specially in prayer to wait in holy silence, and give Him place to breathe within me His unutterable intercession.

And teach me that through Him it is possible to pray without ceasing, and to pray without failing, because He makes me partaker of the never-ceasing and never-failing intercession in which Thou, the Son, dost appear before the Father.

Yea, Lord, fulfil in me Thy promise, At that day ye shall ask in my Name. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my Name, that will He give. Amen.

Through the Holy Spirit we are restored to paradise, led back to the Kingdom of heaven, and adopted as children, given confidence to call God "Father" and to share in Christ's grace, called children of light and given a share in eternal glory."

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

PRAYERS FROM THE HEART IN THANKS FOR ALL BLESSINGS. MAY WE KNOW, LOVE, AND SERVE THE LORD

PASSIONIST MONASTERY PRAYER IN TIME OF NEED

Oh Lord, in my present need, help me believe that You are aware of my anxiety and will do what is best for me. Give me strength to trust You and to put the future in Your merciful hands. Grant this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

To Saint Anne

Good St. Anne, you were especially favored by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior. By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the grace and the favor we now seek. Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen.

St. Theresa of the Child Jesus

O wondrous Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus, who, in thy brief earthly life, didst become a mirror of angelic purity, of courageous love and of whole-hearted surrender to Almighty God, now that thou art enjoying the reward of thy virtues, turn thine eyes of mercy upon us who trust in thee. Obtain for us the grace to keep our hearts and minds pure and clean like unto thine, and to detest in all sincerity whatever might tarnish ever so slightly the luster of a virtue so sublime, a virtue that endears us to they heavenly Bridegroom. Ah, dear Saint, grant us to feel in every need the power of thy intercession; give us comfort in all the bitterness of this life and especially at its latter end, that we may be worthy to share eternal happiness with thee in paradise. Amen.

Let nothing disturb thee. Let nothing affright thee. All things are passing. Patience obtains all things. He who has God has everything. God alone suffices. Saint Teresa

Saint Jude

St. Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (here make your request), and that I may bless God with the Elect throughout Eternity. Amen.

Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony

"Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints"
O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request). O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi before the Blessed Sacrament

We adore You, O Lord Jesus Christ, in this Church and all the Churches of the world, and we bless You, because, by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

Prayer about St. Patrick

God our Father, you sent Saint Patrick to preach your glory to the people of Ireland. By the help of his prayers, may all Christians proclaim your love to all men. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Give thanks to the Lord because He is good, and His love is Eternal. Psalm 136:1-2
